T McMinn says:

The definative resource for residential construction. Comprehensive code for residential building. Although I use my other code references on -line, it is still valuable to have a hard copy that you can tab, hi-light and note in the margins. The definative resource for residential construction.

Timothy Poole says:

Awesome read. Love it! It’s a code book… No story. No sex. No intrigue. No violence. Really, really boring. It’s a code book! It’s made of paper and is bound. It has lot’s of words. A couple of sketches. I studied it and I am now a licensed Residential Building Inspector. Yay!

j smith says:

is very comprehensive and useful. If you are planning to build your own … well, be prepared to shuffle back and forth to connect text with appropriate tables. That being said, the information, for those persistent enough to dig for it, is very comprehensive and useful. If you are planning to build your own home, or want to be informed as to whether the crew building it is cutting corners or not, get this tome.
