Courtney Baga says:

The entire 1L section taking from Bix bought this book. These are the in-class summaries Bix gives to his first-year contracts class, compiled and elaborated upon. It’s structured to mirror class, which is based off the casebook Knapp, Crystal & Prince, Problems in Contract Law (7th ed., 2012)Highly recommended for any 1L looking for a comprehensive review of Contracts that you can manage during the reading period leaving up to your final exam. Even the minority rules worth knowing are indicated.

Scott Pryor says:

Bix At His Best Brian Bix is unusual: he writes at a high level of legal and philosophical sophistication AND he writes clearly. I will recommend this text for next year’s Contracts students, and I plan to use it to launch an article on pluralism in contract theory.
