Outstanding introduction to criminal law I just wrapped up an administration of justice 101 course using this book. I know they have a new one out, but my prof was cool with assigning this 2008 edition. It’s really a terrific introduction to criminal law, so I think at least (non-lawyer). In chapters, they ask you questions to cement your reading, and at the end of each chapter the authors ask you questions again to summarize the main points (and provide answers), in addition to several experiments to test your knowledge of the…

Somethings are better in print. Certain items are great as a digital download. However, I find that educational textbooks are not (at least in law) better in digital. This Crim Law title is my second digital download. After my first digital download, Business Law; I swore I would not download another digital textbook. Try answering questions in the back of every chapter and then, try to thumb back and forth, back and forth to look and to compare legal concepts in a digital format. Easy to read- About to fall apart I purchased this book for my criminal law class. Although I purchased the book used, the condition was terrible. The book has severe water damage, massive notes/highlighting,dirt spots, and the spine is split. However, the book itself is informative and easy to read.
