The book answered most of my questions. I had specific questions about depreciation basis and rental deductible expenses. We are “accidental” landlords as result of the recession. Parents bought new house in 1961. Moved in 2008 to one story house for elderly mother’s safety. Tried to sell in 200& 2009. We rented to folks with a realtor contract to buy, but they could never get a loan. Been renting house since mid 2009. Extremely Helpful and comprehensive I will admit, I have not finished this yet and will update when done, so far this is a great book, easy to understand and read. I have read the first 6 chapters and some important ones at the end starting with Chp15.

Kindle vs Paperback – not the same Based on all the positive reviews, I just ordered the paperback edition. I would have preferred to get the Kindle version, but was afraid that any tables might not look as good electronically as they do on paper. When I used the “Look Inside” option for both the paperback and the Kindle version, I was shocked to see that the paperback was the 9th edition but the Kindle was only the 3rd edition.
