Very readable, and very necessary to read This book is a must read to understand the role the United States and its predecessor territories played in created to pull residents of Latin America to the United States. Our political and economic influence in Latin American through the centuries often created unlivable conditions for residents other than the very elite. If we want to stop the migration from Latin America, then we have to reverse the many actions that created the unlivable conditions.
